Adelost

Cheese semi-soft produced with cow milk. Modern, creamery, blue cheese made from cow's milk. It has a drum shape with pale cream and natural rind is lightly dusted with moulds. This moist, creamy cheese is not unlike Bleu d'Augverne. The streaks of blue-gray mould are well distributed and it has a sharp, salty tang. 
Adelost ripens in two to three months and has a fat content of 50 per 
cent. This cheese is used as a table cheese.
